From small
beginnings
Our story begins in 2014. Steve Irlam & Aubrey Kingsbury started a shrink wrap company called Rhino Shrink Wrap. After many years of hard work, the business grew into a well established brand that still thrives today.
Hands on experience
As Rhino Shrink Wrap grew, we spent lots of time on construction sites and experienced ‘first hand’ the challenges of creating effective temporary weather protection & temperature control.
We realised that whilst shrink wrap sheeting was a good product for some applications, it always needed a structure or framework, it was time consuming to install and once the project was finished, the sheeting was discarded.
We thought that there must be a better way.

supported tent
Our answer was a rugged and re-usable air beam supported tent that could deploy in minutes, with no complicated framework or work at height needed during set up. Although ‘air beam’ structures were first used by the US military in the 1960’s, nobody had ever focused on how they could benefit the construction industry.

Factory
Airquee is the largest inflatable manufacturer in Europe. At a time when many companies import products from China, Airquee is in the fortunate position of owning its own European manufacturing facility.
We utilise some of the most advanced technologies in the industry in our design, cutting, printing and stitching functions.
Between our UK and European sites we can produce around 20 units per day.
